This must have been the happiest day after I came back!
For once I woke up early at 11am and went for a prata breakfast @ Frontier Library. It was the healthiest prata I’ve ever eaten, the oil was minimal! Haha.
And then I went for cg meeting! It was great to be back with them after SO LONG… About a month?! Yea. We had so much fun playing Singapore-related games in conjunction with National Day!
Waha…
After that I sneaked to my favourite hangout place again to chill…
Ordered “Strawberry Smoothies” and felt literally chilled, while reading the papers.
I’m beginning to think that politics is men’s form of bitching and catfighting. Just maybe in a more dignified way…
Muaha.
Heard a nice voice singing @ the outdoor theatre, it sort of drew me over like Pied Piper. =P

Performed by one of Singapore’s old boy bands – The Quest.
The audience was fantastic, mainly people in their 60s. Though of age, they were so spontaneous and sang along with Vernon Cornelius! I love his voice~ OMG. *Melt*
It must have been a special night for them to be journeying back to their younger days. I guess they must have forgotten about life for a while during that moment.
It was heartwarming to see ah mas and ah gongs cheering and going gaga. It brought tears to my eyes to be present there, absorbing the atmosphere and being part of this nostalgic event.
What touched me also was the band’s passion for music even after so many decades.
And I wonder, 40 years down the road, when we are in our 60s, what kinda songs will we still be singing to? What kinda memories will they bring back?
